Pete Trapani, MPH, CSCS, CPT, KBS, FMS
360 Fitness For Life & Health: Owner & Operator
Pete is the Owner/Operator of 360 Fitness For Life & Health. Pete provides personal training and strength and conditioning services to athletes at any level, professional development for fitness professionals, educators, allied health professionals and corporations. Pete is a former Physical Education Teacher, a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and a U.S. Army veteran. Pete is pursuing his Master’s of Public Health at the University of Missouri. He speaks locally and nationally about the connection between exercise, human movement and their role in enhancing neuroplasticity. He is a proponent for the use of interactive technology and its integration into conditioning programs to enhance performance. He is currently a consultant in phase two of a pilot study with Washington University in St. Louis and Makoto USA. The pilot is exploring the link between exercise using the Makoto Arena to develop interventions to improve outcomes for children on the Autism Spectrum. Data will be published in a Medical Journal in late 2013.

Steve Hess, MS
Denver Nuggets: Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach
Mr. Hess oversees the Denver Nuggets weight training, conditioning, stretching and nutritional programs. He designed and arranged the Nuggets’ sparkling weight room in the Pepsi Center and also designed functional and interactive pieces unique to the Denver Nuggets.In his 12th season with the Nuggets, Hess creates and administers individual workout programs for each player throughout the entire year. He spends the majority of the off-season working with the Nuggets players as well as other professional athletes, overseeing every aspect of their workout programs. He pushes them to reach their peak physical condition. In addition, Hess has had much television experience and has been featured on NBA Inside Stuff and on The Eating Network. He also has his own workout segment on the Altitude Sports and Entertainment Network.

He analyzes formulations, research protocols, strength and performance protocols, and is constantly advancing MusclePharm’s sports nutrition foundation. His input assists in keeping products safe for MusclePharm consumers and patients. He also advises MP athletes in nutrition, diet, and supplementation. Dr. Moon is responsible for directing the Research Institute at the MusclePharm Sports Science Center in Denver, Colorado. He is also responsible for directing the research team as they conduct clinical trials testing physiological responses to nutrition and/or supplement interventions. Dr. Moon also writes and publishes scientific manuscripts, analyses data, writes research reports, presents research findings, and develops and writes research protocols. Dr. Moon is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction (CSCS*D) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Michael is the Director of Performance and Research at The Institute of Sport Science & Athletic Conditioning in Las Vegas, and is the developer of the Dominate Your Game!sports program. He has advised numerous professional and amateur sports teams and athletes, and is also very involved with many science and research institutions, presenting seminars around the country for several internationally recognized organizations. Michael is also a state chairman for the National Strength & Conditioning Association, a state director for the North American Strongman corporation, and a judge for the International Natural Bodybuilding Association.A former powerlifter, Michael has been in the industry for over twenty years, and is pursuing his Master’s degree in Exercise Science.

Paul manages the day-to-day operations at the MusclePharm Sports Science Center Research Institute. He is responsible for the organizational aspects of the research, including communication with and scheduling of subjects. Other duties include performing experimental techniques, as well as collecting and recording data. He works closely with the Research Institute Director Dr. Moon and Dr. Michael Kim to develop cutting edge research ideas and experimental protocols. Paul is an expert in nutritional biochemistry with years of experience in nutritional research and research methodology.
